Looking Beyond Religion

“A religion doesn’t go through an atrocity. People do.” The video throws light upon how eventually it is the people who have suffered in Kashmir due to the constant unrest.

A Delhi based theatre group known for the experimental art performance has made a play about the issue of Kashmir and it’s history of conflict for the past 72 years. The issue has become more complex since the abrogation of article 370 with several narratives and counter-narratives both being fetched to the masses at large.

The group through the theatre performance tries to bring the impact of the decision in its pristine form and to enable a well-formed perspective that can bring harmony among people.

The director of the play Mr. Vivek Tyagi through this performance wants to generate ‘concern’ among individuals regarding the entire issue. So that people could focus more on the solution rather than the complexity of the issue.
